Does Marvin prescribe medication?Marvin does not prescribe medication. However, if you would like to connect with a psychiatrist, we can make a referral within your local area to a psychiatrist who accepts your insurance.
Does Marvin provide longer-term care? Or is it time-limited?Marvin can provide long-term care, and does not put a limit on the number of sessions per employee. Your sessions, including the length and frequency, are determined based upon your insurance provider and the clinical judgment of your provider. If you would like to schedule additional sessions, you can do so by connecting with your therapist, or by reaching out to the Marvin team directly via: firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is Marvin?Marvin is the first personalized mental health support system for physicians. We focus on creating an action plan that includes 1:1 teletherapy, meditations, mood analytics, and a supportive community.
Who can join Marvin? We’re currently working with physicians who are a part of the Wisconsin Medical Society. Over time, we’ll expand to additional medical centers, employers, and local organizations. Interested in bringing Marvin to your region? Send us a short message.
What makes Marvin unique? When it comes to mental health we know one-size does not fit all. We work with mental health professionals who are the best in their field, and who have specific experience and expertise in working with physicians. Marvin was co-founded by a physician, and we make sure physician needs are top of mind for our therapists and care team.
"The couples therapy was really helpful for me and my partner, especially with flexible hours around an impossible hospital schedule"
